The History of Our Church

Redeeming Grace Church had its first meeting on June 16, 2018 (Father’s Day). The church started with eight charter families and met in homes/apartments for approximately two years. Pastor David Harris Sr. was our founding pastor. This was his third Reformed Baptist Pastorate, he had previously served at two other churches in Rome, GA and Hiram, GA.

The parking lot has designated handicapped parking spaces and a playground area with a blue shade as well as a sidewalk leading to the building. There are trees in the background and the sky is partly cloudy.

Redeeming Grace Church started meeting at Lakeview Seventh Day Adventist Church on December 22, 2019. This venue gave our church a stable location and enabled us to expand our ministry events. Our church joined our first association (The Fellowship of Reformed Evangelicals/F.I.R.E) while we were meeting at this location.

June 6, 2023 marked a milestone for our body as we moved to a previously empty church building in Cartersville, Georgia. This location was 22 miles north of our old location. In His providence, God provided the building for us rent-free for the term of one year. At this point, we felt the Lord moving us to plant long term roots in the Cartersville area.

As our body grew in size, our needs grew as well. We asked the Lord to raise up more faithful officers to serve his body. The Lord answered our prayer as Keith Tyler was ordained as our second deacon on 12/7/2025. Keith had been serving in various capacities since our church was founded in 2018.

On March 3, 2024, God graciously provided a different church building in Cartersville that was two miles away from our old location. During our time at this building, we ordained our first deacon and joined another association (Reformed Baptist Network, RBNet). Our church launched Sunday School and separate men’s and women’s Bible Studies at this location. We are excited to see how God continues to advance his kingdom through our church.

We would love to have you come join us and see what how the Lord is building His church in the North Georgia area. Sunday School starts at 10 AM each Sunday, and Sunday Morning Worship starts at 11 AM. We also hold a bimonthly Men’s Bible Study (2nd and 4th Wednesday) at 6:30 PM and monthly Women’s Bible Study (1st Tuesday) at 6:00 PM. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
